Alex Bostic is a multimedia journalist, writer, photographer and artist currently residing in Washington, DC. Born the son of a carpenter and an elementary school teacher in New Hampshire, his style of storytelling focuses on accentuating unvoiced perspectives that border the social periphery. Through selective immersion within environments that harbor evocative ephemera, he focuses on dredging often fleeting moments for stories and angles that are otherwise left to fade; through the use of diverse media, his mission is to express these stories creatively and thoughtfully.Alongside his writing and photography, Alex is also an accomplished charcoal artist, and has work exhibited at multiple galleries, including Two Villages Art Society in New Hampshire. He appreciates creating diversity in artistic expression, and believes this lends itself to developing deeper understandings of communication and observation. He has published short stories and creative essays, and was a comedy staff writer for the satirical political media site The Mideast Beast, based out of Tel Aviv.
