  Currently assigned to the Solar Power and Discharge Board projects in the Power Sub Team. Duties for the Solar Power project include designing testing procedures to meet the projects requirements, constraints, and goals, and carrying out those testing procedures. Testing will be done for various weather conditions as wells as for unique issues with solar panels on the ocean such as salt buildup. Additionally, solar panels must be wired through MPPTs before power is sent to the battery system.Duties with the Discharge Board project include developing and testing a battery management system and stabilizing power from batteries to 12V. Functionality to cut power to all components on the boat and to send current and voltage readings to the system's mainframe must also be added.
