As Advisor of the Vice Presidency of the Republic of Ecuador, and as National Secretary of Disabilities, I lead several projects with national and International results to over 13 countries. —For the Ecuadorian Red Cross, developed numerous disaster risk reduction, public health, emergency medical services, and disaster preparedness strategies, improving organizational response time to national and international emergencies and disasters. —While with the Ecuador Ministry of Public Health, organized the Ecuadorian national response to the AH1N1 flu pandemic, as well as the first national emergency medical team. This team provided cross-functional support to Haiti and Chile after the 2010 earthquakes. —As Incident Manager coordinating disaster relief efforts for the 2008 floods, as well as during the Tungurahua Volcano eruption in 2006. - In the Academy field, I have thought in several Universities at undergraduate and Master's program levels.
