The system interacted with the client's internal warehouse management backend, synchronizing various data with the website (Python, Django, jQuery, CSS) - Several projects to adapt client's software for cloud deployment. Outlined requirements to their development teams. Consulted about using modern scalable databases, NoSQL technologies, CDN. Designed deployment scenarios (Python) - Worked on some personal projects to learn new technologies, frameworks and platforms (node.js, various JavaScript frameworks, Swift) - Working pro bono on a project for Courage Canada (Canadian Blind Hockey). This is a big research and development undertaking to create an ideal high tech puck for blind players (Hardware engineering, Autodesk AutoCAD, 3D prototyping) - DiveGuard (www.diveguard.ca) platform diver protection system. Designed and engineered a passenger elevator (city owned) monitoring and VOIP intercom system with conditional access. - Met with the city council members and various city managers and technicians to discuss their problems and ways to solve them with a software system, estimated time and money expenditures,and helped them chose the right technology for implementation. - Described requirements, designed and implemented a web based system to maintain a large number of elevators and their users (Python using Django). - Developed the main concept for the elevator unit micro-controller firmware and contributed the most of the program code (C/Assembler). - Was in charge of planning deployment of the system to over 3000 elevators over IP networks.Skills: Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Hardware Engineering, Embedded C, Microchip PIC
