My journey is driven by a profound belief in the power of education to unlock potential and promote acceptance.I am deeply committed to creating inclusive environments where every individual feels safe and can thrive. What I Do:As an advocate for providing educational support and inclusive education, I work tirelessly as an Advisory Teacher for Autism and SEND Tutor to bridge the gap between theory and practice. I network with practitioners from all backgrounds, including teaching staff, senior teachers, psychologists, therapists, and partners across the borough to learn what themes are arising. I conduct research and examine evidence-based initiatives, developing supportive strategies to meet the needs of young people, parents, carers, and professionals. I do this by facilitating events, hosting surgeries, delivering workshops, working directly with young people and signposting resources and support. I am dedicated to empowering neurodivergent people to explore their identity and ensure educators, parents, and communities embrace difference, embed inclusive practice, provide reasonable adjustments, and empower neurodivergent people to reach their potential.
