• Providing legal consulting and litigation oversight for trust and wealth management department with approximately 2 billion in assets under management• Spearheading project research and proposal of digital wealth management services• Advising CBT Board of Directors, senior management and other business units in areas including key wealth management and trust issues, differentiated service offerings, impactful changes to state and federal regulatory policy, and changing trends within the trust and wealth management segment• Providing legal consultation and administration of large family trusts, including trusts holding special assets • Assisting clients with the development and implementation of their estate plans, business succession plans and other ways to mitigate taxes, preserve wealth and carry out charitable giving objectives• Collaborating with external counsel on any and all litigation arising within trust and wealth management including will/trust contents, breach of fiduciary duty allegations, declaratory actions, trust amendments and decanting actions• Assessing and monitoring regulatory and compliance issues including third party vendors and CBT governing documents• Reviewing client wills, trust agreements, agency agreements, and other estate planning documents for potential legal issues and the proper interpretation of key provisions

• Assisted with legal research on complex family trust matters• Partnered with outside counsel regarding areas including fiduciary litigation, complex estate planning matters, contract drafting and administration of large family trusts holding special assets

• Developed strategies and imperatives for relevant legislative issues and priorities related to the University of Louisville including funding for UofL School of Medicine and UofL Hospital• Assessed various legislative initiatives impacting the University of Louisville during legislative session at the KY State Capital • Performed legal research on a variety of complex state and local legislative issues
