Growth is the product of opportunity and, throughout my career, I’ve taken advantage of these moments to pave a path of which I’m incredibly proud and passionate.My skills and experience, albeit diverse, have led me to my true calling: Machining and Technology. The constant and rapid evolution of the machining industry is as fascinating as it is challenging. Identifying opportunities for improvement is top of mind, both at work and in my personal life. Whether it be incorporating probing into a program to help automate a cycle, or perfecting my disc golf game, there is always room for improvement.As a machinist, I prioritized staying up to date with tools and machining processes which resulted in reducing cycle times by upwards of 50% on individual parts. Having learned Mastercam, I became efficient in balancing both troubleshooting and improving programs at the machine while managing a number of other operations. This not only saved valuable time, but significantly reduced the need to interrupt and impede the programmer’s production. Furthermore, I maintained awareness of the cost of tools, and considered the versatility of each one, ultimately increasing profitability. CNC Mill Machining is where the majority of my work skills shine, however I am interested in all facets of manufacturing technology. Whether it be Robotics, Automation, Aerospace, Tools, End Mills, Medical or Mold and Die, I’m aiming to leverage my skills, experience, and drive to work with a shop or organization with the common goal of improving through technology and teamwork.If you’re interested in a competent individual to run a mill, your next automation apprentice, or an applications expert, my creative experience, practical knowledge and eagerness to learn will certainly be utilized to help your company achieve goals and consistent growth.
