I was part of the InterSystems Internship Program during Summer 2024, working under the Supply Chain Team.Responsibilities:- Design Python library for extracting business-oriented insights from product demand forecasting, featuring product data preprocessing and statistical model training while incorporating user knowledge.- Demonstrate a use case for this library by prototyping an application for detecting anomalies in product demand.- Participate in daily standup meetings and document progress using Jira.Achievements:- Presented prototype application at live demo during final project presentation to company, demonstrating anomaly detection on public Kaggle Demand Forecasting dataset. - Arrive at project code structure through many iterations, reaching agreement with other software engineers, streamlining future plans to extend my project and deploy to production.

My research was under Prof. Raskar at the Camera Culture Group at the MIT Media Lab. My group is developing a novel method, CoDream, of training distributed, separate machine learning models using representations of data. Responsibilities:- Debug issues with algorithm performance on additional dataset (TinyImageNet). This involved researching and understanding the implementation of algorithms our algorithm depended on, and incrementally testing their performance on the additional dataset to identify the source of the issue. - Debug implementation of other existing methods, and benchmark to compare performance against our algorithm by running under difference parameters and conditions. - Contribute to editing research paper typeset in LaTeX. Achievements:- Discovered source of issues with algorithm performance on new dataset and presented insights to group. - Submitted paper to AAAI 2025.

Responsibilities:- Assist students in this course with understanding fundamental machine learning concepts by providing patient and encouraging support on homework and lab assignments.- Meet weekly with course faculty to provide feedback and test upcoming assignments.Achievements:- Over 2 semesters, provided assistance to ~400 (my estimate) students over 280 hours of work.- Commended by professor for providing frequent yet thorough suggestions which were implemented to improve the course material, including rewordings of problems, discovering bugs with code blocks, and clarifying presentation of course concepts.

My research was under Prof. Stultz at the Computational Cardiovascular Research Group (CCRG, https://www.rle.mit.edu/cb/) at the Research Laboratory of Electronics at MIT. My group had developed a machine learning model to monitor metrics related to heart health non-invasively, and was deploying this model for testing. Responsibilities:- Develop user-friendly desktop (using Electron.JS and Node.JS) and mobile applications (using Java and Kotlin).- Implement feature requirements for these applications as specified by professor.Achievements:- Demonstrated the applications I built to supervisors on testing data, showing results of machine learning model; future plans are to use these applications to allow doctors and patients to test the machine learning model in research studies.- Discovered discrepancies in the training data by thoroughly testing application for correctness, which were acknowledged by my supervisor as an important issue.
