I am a very keen and highly motivated sports coach who specifies in Karate. After taking up Karate as a 6 year old, I have attained many titles such as European U21 Bronze, World University Bronze, multiple British and English Champion, plus many international titles and medals. Competing for my country since the age of 10.I graduated in 2014 from Sheffield Hallam University studying BSc (Hons) in Sport Science for Performance Coaching. Whilst at university I was awarded my full blue (university colours) for competing internationally for both my country and university. I was also awarded sportsman of the year in 2014. I became the head coach of the social Karate sessions at Sheffield Hallam and have developed a young squad outside of University who compete abroad and hold multiple national and international titles.In June 2015 I was appointed Head Northern Regional Kata Coach by the English Karate Federation, meaning that I am responsible for one third of the countries talent development to the national squad.I am a very motivated individual who is willing to go the extra mile in order to succeed. I have a view of a holistic approach in order to cover all aspects of the situations and thrive on the aspect of achieving set goals and optimising performance during high pressure situations.Overall I am a very outgoing individual who is always willing to learn and better myself.
