My academic journey began at Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool, culminating in my pursuit of a BCom Informatics degree with a major in Information Systems. As I approach the conclusion of my academic path, I've set my sights on transitioning into the IT industry, with a keen interest in full-stack development.Technical Proficiency:Over the course of my studies, I've honed my skills in a plethora of languages and tools such as .Net 6 framework, HTML, JavaScript, Angular, Python, RStudio, C#, and Delphi.Beyond coding, I'm well-versed in database management, especially with Microsoft SQL. My fluency extends to the Microsoft Office Suite, ensuring I can bridge the gap between technical and administrative tasks.Methodology & Experience:My approach to unfamiliar projects or technologies is rooted in thorough research, planning, and a drive for continuous learning. This was exemplified during my involvement in a community project during my 2nd year, where our team translated a high school app to make it more accessible in Afrikaans. Currently, as part of our capstone project, I am playing a pivotal role as a developer, working alongside BMWZAIT Hub to construct an e-documentation system integrated with a service desk chatbot and support ticketing functionality.Ambitions & Interests:While my short-term goals are centered around full-stack development, I envision myself transitioning into a business/system analyst role, leveraging the robust IT foundation I'm building.
