I am passionate about innovation, technology and craftsmanship to create atmospheric spaces which capture people’s imagination and cultivate sustainability, equality, and well-being.I particularly enjoy contributing to ambitious projects, drawing from experiences of working on schemes located in countries including the U.K., Switzerland, Southern Africa, the Middle East and Asia. I have been involved in a range of sectors from higher education buildings to rail and air transport structures, as well as sports, cultural and exhibition halls. Since joining Grimshaw over a decade ago, I am party to an incredible journey seeing the practices' global expansion whilst contributing to high-profile projects, such as Heathrow Terminal 2b, the ExCel Exhibition Centre, as well as numerous buildings within the higher education sector.I am especially delighted about my involvement in the multi award-winning redevelopment of the University of Southampton’s Boldrewood Innovation Campus. My contribution spans across all RIBA stages and include buildings for the University and their business collaborators such as Lloyds Register, as well as the Hydrosciences Laboratory, the Wolfson Unit studio interior, and the National Infrastructure Laboratory. Contributing to the industries culture has become increasingly more important to me. I am a Trustee of the University Design Forum and co-chair of the Research Group. I feel honoured to have been invited to speak at several forums, be called as an occasional lecturer, providing mentorship, and being an active volunteer at the Grimshaw Foundation to inspiring the next generation of Designers, Architects and Artists.
