Growing up, small businesses like panaderías, taco stands, and ice cream vendors were a big part of my community. The people running these businesses remind me of family members—tia, tios, and cousins—all working hard to create a better life. Supporting these business owners and ensuring they have access to the resources they need is key to helping them succeed and make their dreams a reality.As Program Coordinator in the Economic Development Services Department, I'm focused on supporting the entrepreneurial community in Peoria. My work includes developing workforce programs, improving access to funding for business growth, strengthening local entrepreneurial initiatives, and building partnerships within the business ecosystem.Before joining the City of Peoria, I worked as the Entrepreneur Programs & Outreach Coordinator at the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Serving the Pacific Southwest, Central & Inland California.
