Daily upkeep and cleaning of holiday beach homes on the beautiful K’Gari (Fraser) island. Liaising with the managers for cleaning and maintenance schedules. Further duties included resort pool maintenance, monitoring essential systems (power, water & sewerage), mowing and painting during manager absence.

As a receptionist, I became skilled in money handling, guest and customer check-ins and request handling. Furthermore managing with booking agents and email responses. Among other roles, including; Night Time Caretaker: On call during reception closing hours, checking in guests, securing the building, guest care and service.Housekeeping: Each day the rooms and kitchen are needed to be inspected and cleaned, I joined this team primarily before reception roles became available.

After 6 and a half years of service, from lifeguarding, fitness coaching, reception, and food and beverage, I have accrued a fair expanse of skills required for each department. My fitness coaching role developed my interpersonal skills with colleagues, prospective members and members wishing to gain further knowledge to assist them with their health and fitness journey. This was also closely monitored by measuring our appointment and appointment attendance completion. I have had the pleasure of sharing my interest and passions for health, fitness and sports therapy with a range of clients of all ages (8+ to 80+) and their mixed fields of capabilities.

As part of my work placement covering modules in my Sports Therapy Degree, I undertook over 160 hours work placement under supervision. Roles included, hosting an injury clinic for the senior playing squad and pitch-side medic. Covering aspects of emergency first aid, massage, taping, injury diagnosis and medical referral.
