I was as an associate editor for Banner Society, the company's national college football vertical. My responsibilities included writing and editing articles of all lengths, operating social media accounts, and coordinating story ideas with other staff members. I also handled a lot of our graphic design duties, with an eye toward the website’s consistent visual identity and making sure people would know immediately from an illustration that a piece of content came from our website. And I was honored to serve on the organizing and bargaining committees for the Vox Media Union, which reached an industry-leading collective bargaining agreement with company management after 14 months of collaboration.

My job was to aid people as they solicited the office's help in dealing with federal agencies (most commonly HHS and Veterans' Affairs). I also answered a lot of phones, wrote letters to be sent out on behalf of the Senator, staffed events when the Senator visited, and did research as requested by professional staff.
