Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) TDY in Adana, Turkey. I serve as the main point of contact for a multi-million dollar portfolio of USG programs in Northwest Syria and Turkey. I am the USG humanitarian cluster liaison for the early recovery and livelihoods (ERL), agriculture and camp coordination and camp management (CCCM) sectors in Northwest Syria.

Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) TDY in Amman, Jordan where I served as the team focal point for protection programming and as the primary liaison for the USG support for receiving the COVID-19 vaccine in Northeast Syria.

• All of the responsibilities as outlined below but with a thematic focus on Youth and Agriculture sectors. • Support business development efforts within my portfolio.• Manage subaward supporting youth entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka.

• Design and utilize financial tracking systems to monitor expenses and programmatic goals, produce financial reports for our donors, forecast upcoming expenditures, and analyze the financial health of USAID Cooperative Agreements, Contracts and Corporate-funded projects of up to $130 million.• Liaise with field office staff to troubleshoot problems related to procurement, contract modifications, obligation increases, subcontractors, and logistics. • Serve on review panels for sub award proposals relevant to my portfolio.

• Supported IREX's youth practice division by researching, preparing communications documents and contributing to the project proposal process.

• Developed, in conjunction with the research team at the University of Rwanda, a study to test the theory of change for the road safety program called Bivuge.

• Served as the project manager on critical agency-wide management initiatives.• Conducted evaluative studies to identify process improvement recommendations.• Facilitated the development of performance measures at various program levels resulting in increased efficiencies and potential cost savings.

• Initiated after-school English language classes for approximately 60 Jordanian students between 5th and 10th grades three times per week. • Assisted Jordanian teachers with alternative teaching methods such as hands-on and participatory activities within the classroom.• Elected to represent volunteers in the region on the Volunteer Advisory Council where I assessed and prioritized regional needs.

• Assisted agents with fraud and corruption investigations including in-depth research, analyzing data, compiling reports, as well as reviewing and referring incoming allegations. • Developed a resource manual for investigators involved in cases with the United States African Development Foundation using Microsoft Publisher.• Prepared for and attended meetings with various USAID, State Department and White House officials and followed up with the outcomes.
