At the Athinoula A. Martinos Center I performed quality control for the pre-processing of positron emission tomography and magnetic resonance imaging data in the Alzheimer Biomarkers Consortium. I also created a standard operating procedure for the pre-processing and quality control pipeline of Alzheimer Biomarker Consortium imaging data. I then presented findings and information relating to the quality control performed for the Alzheimer Biomarkers Consortium to other neuroscientists, researchers, and professionals at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.

At the Nano Lab at Tufts University I fabricated flexible thread glucose sensors for the ex vivo measurement of glucose in birds. I also made conductive threads from gold and carbon and experimented with length, thickness, coatings and more to create more conductive threads, producing more effective glucose sensors. I also quantified conductivity and flexibility through rigorous testing of the glucose sensing threads.
