About Alex Masters

For the past 23 years I have been a Corporate Finance and Strategic adviser to Consumer sector companies. I have also invested in 8 high growth consumer goods brands and acted as mentor, board director and adviser to a number of them.I have been primarily located on London apart from 3 years in Asia (2008-2011). I have always had a global role advising Corporates, Private Equity Houses, Owners and Family Offices in cross border and domestic deals spanning US, UK, Europe, Asia and Africa. I have been able to help clients bridge cultural issues and think flexibly about transaction structures to allow deals to conclude.During my career I have actively driven the growth of four separate teams, first working hard to grow Rothschild London Consumer team to a global team from 2001 to 2008, second relocating to Singapore in 2008 to set up Rothschild's Asian Consumer team, third to set up, hire and lead EY's London Consumer team from 2014 to 2016. I'm most proud to have joined Lincoln International in 2017 and to have grown the team and to be its Co-head of European ConsumerI have extensive experience across a broad spectrum of deal types encompassing, buyside and sellside, LBOs, sale of PE owned assets, debt and equity raising. Throughout my career I have worked on a wide range of deals sizes (from single digit $m to +$10bn) and I recognise that these often require different approaches and skillsets.
