Financial management and control experience across a range of industries including Not for Profit, technology & managed services, environmental services, resources and property. In addition to financial management, my experience includes:- Private equity and ASX listed company experience in start-up and rapid development/transformation environments.- raising equity and debt through traditional means such as placements for listed companies, and debt through major banks, but also non-traditional means such as R&D financing and non-bank debt- Managing teams in hybrid environments- Cross functional management in the Tech industry- managing interactions and working with people from different cultures and professional disciplines with non-English speaking backgrounds or who do not have English as a first language.- governance & risk management in ASX listed organisations in the capacity of company secretary;- re-domiciling and re-listing a dual listed company;- Tax, including cross border issues such as transfer pricing and withholding tax (FCWT);- Joint Venture operations and financial management;- farmout / M&A / contract negotiations.I have experience in resources industry, particularly Upstream Oil and Gas, covering both PSA / PSC and Tax & Royalty regimes. I have also had experience in the Steel-Making Coal industry with involvement in Pembroke Resources' Olive Downs development in Queensland.A number of the companies that I have worked for have had operations in Papua New Guinea (PNG) and the Middle East & North Africa (MENA), and I have significant exposure to the cultural and commercial idiosyncracies and challenges that come with these locations. This includes the management and mentoring of staff who did not necessarily have a finance background or English as a well understood language. I also have exposure to Indonesia and the USA.Commercial support capability through financial modelling, contract review, due diligence, audit and financial analysis activity.
