Growing up on a farm in Northern Ontario gave me a diverse skill set and a strong work ethic, which have been essential in completing various tasks throughout my career. These early experiences laid a solid foundation for my approach to problem-solving and teamwork.My time in the Fort McMurray Oil Sands was both challenging and rewarding. Working with both the Operations and Maintenance crews provided me with valuable experience and the opportunity to handle some of the largest equipment in the world, always prioritizing safety.After completing the Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician - Robotics program at Algonquin College in Ottawa, I joined the Equipment Technician team at Abbott Point of Care. This role allowed me to refine my technical skills and gain invaluable industry experience.Currently, as a Technologist in Energy Research, I am leveraging my background to explore innovative solutions in the energy sector. I am passionate about driving advancements that lead to more efficient energy solutions.Outside of work, I am passionate about sports. I enjoy following my favorite teams and competing in fantasy football leagues. I also have a keen interest in woodworking, continuously developing and improving my workspace at home. My diverse interests and ongoing projects reflect my desire to keep learning and acquiring new skills.
