Alex Munive is one of the world’s leading experts on gender equality, inclusion, and age-responsive solutions. He has 20 years of experience in building and leading high-performing teams, in organizational change management, and hands-on experience in programs, policy, research, and campaigns that tackle systemic inequality. At Global Center for Gender Equality, he leads the team developing the world’s first gender transformative leadership package for Ministers and provides policy guidance on a governmental level. In his previous job, he was the Head of Gender Equality and Inclusion for Plan International. He has provided thought-leadership on gender equality to the 4 billion Euro organizational-wide 5-year strategy. He has also led the development of Plan’s global gender transformative and multi-country flagship initiatives ‘Girls 2030’ known for quality programming, innovation, and results. These initiatives are currently implemented in all continents. Alex has worked as a consultant for the European Union, the Nordic Development Fund, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the Finnish government.
