Alex has 40 years experience, including over 25 years in Company claims and senior management and 14 years as a consultant working with Insurers, Corporate clients and litigation defence teams on a wide range of casualty claims and related operational projects.Having spent the last 6 years building a Claims Operations team and working with the Operations Control and Governance team at HDI Global, Alex retired in July 2023.In addition to a broad base of technical claims handling experience covering all classes of liability/casualty, commercial property, construction and specialist lines, Alex has extensive experience within; resource recruitment, development and performance management; all aspects of claims operational systems and processes; financial planning, budgeting, control and reporting; the development of IT claims management systems. Sound project management skills and the ability to apply a wide range of experience to resolve issues relating to portfolios, operations and regulatory matters.
