During my time in college, I have developed many skills through my engineering related work experiences. I was an intern at Superior Controls in the summer of 2018. At Superior Controls, I mainly worked with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI (Human Machine Interfaces) for various automated processes. I learned to write ladder logic code and how to design user interfaces for that code. I began a research position at the UMASS Lowell Baseball Research Center in August 2018, and have worked my way up to earning the title of Senior Lab Assistant. Being the Senior Lab Assistant, I am in charge of delegating tasks and making sure that we reach our deadlines. I have gained a lot of experience from this job including using excel to process data, as well as professional report writing. I have helped out with many reports which have been sent to Rawlings and the MLB. I was also involved in some extra-curricular activities in college. I am a member of Sigma Phi Omicron Fraternity. During my time in Sigma Phi Omicron, I have held a couple of Executive Board positions. These include Vice President, and Parliamentarian. I was also on the Executive Board for UMASS Lowell St. Jude Up 'Til Dawn. I was one of the Event and Logistics Chairmen and I helped organize a charity event for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital that raised over $43,000.
