I am currently looking to become a surgical doctor through a B. of Biomedical science. I enjoy a challenge quite a bit, mainly so that I can identify my weaknesses and work towards developing and learning how I can improve and become more efficient in task related activities. This way of thinking has helped me develop many transferable skills.One of the more memorable skills that I have developed is perseverance. This skill was developed through my participation in the Kokoda challenge. In order to complete the challenge a level of perseverance was required to make it through the very steep and harsh conditions.In addition, I have excellent written and verbal communication skills. While commencing secondary education i was required to have very good written communication to perform at a competitive academic level. Through repetitive practice I was able to develop this skill. Furthermore, I have developed verbal communication through my social interactions in school and outside of school. My verbal communicational skills have helped enhance my customer service ability. Subsequently, my time management is also a skill i have developed. Through education I have been required to study an immense amount. As such, I was required to develop good time management to effectively plan out tasks and increase productivity.
