Nature is a leading strategic insights consultancy specialising in quantitative research methods. Research investingating the Female Profile of Autism.Throughout my candidature in the PhD program, I was responsible for the development of a large-scale research project and the management of all aspects of the research process. As a result, I developed a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality processes and outcomes. My project required the recruitment of over 1000 participants, across four studies, using a mixture of face-to-face and online formats. Through this research I developed, managed, and analysed several large-scale datasets. I was also responsible for developing several scientific manuscripts and reports for publication.

Research Fellow in the Health Systems Improvement Unit at Deakin University, which primarily conducts commissioned research for both government and industry partners (principally market research in the health field). Within this role, I wasresponsible for assisting in the management and execution of several large and smaller-scale projects. Our largest project was working with BreastScreen Victoria and the Department of Health and Human Services, working to understand why some women a less likely regularly to use the services than others, and what barriers they are facing to do so. As part of this, my responsibilities included: • Conducting and reporting searches of the literature that ensure that the research programs are informed by the relevant literature;• Contributing to the design and implementation of health programs;• Accurately and systematically extracting, analysing, and critiquing qualitative and scientific data from reports and external data sets; • Undertaking telephone and face-to-face interviews;• Undertaking qualitative and quantitative analyses of data, health services redesign and health professional training; and other projects as they arise; • Generating new research questions and assisting with the drafting of applications for funding that are in line with the Unit’s strategic directions;• Drafting reports and publications;• Provide on-going guidance and insight to partners and stakeholders.

I have had the opportunity to expand my experience and skill set by working as a Key Account Associate at a Melbourne-based technology startup. I have been working in multiple roles including market research, marketing, user-experience development and a range of other parts of working with a startup.Supporting the Executive Team with business development and customer procurement.

As part of this role, I supported the Clinical Research Committee and Registrars through their Specialist Training Program research projects.As the Research Officer for the ACSP, I was responsible for all administration associated with Registrars research component of the training program. This role also involved liaising with two separate but related research committees. I was also responsible for the monthly newsletter and assisting will all other administrative duties for the College including phone based customer service. I was also responsible for providing on-going research support to college Registrars in the form of research methods and statistics, research proposals, and all other research related activities.
