I’m a mechanical infrastructure engineer within the British Army. I have been a Royal Engineer since 2006 which has given me a vast range of experience across a spectrum of environments.I hold a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Building Services Engineering, I’m an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). I am also a member of the Association of Project Management (MAPM).Currently employed in an operations role for a large, busy ops facing squadron. Prior to this I was employed as the lead mechanical engineer for the British Army’s power specialist team. My recent experience includes conducting Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) assessments in the Caribbean. This was part of defence’s Humanitarian and Disaster Relief (HADR) commitment to British overseas territories. During this deployment, I lead with delivering resilience recommendations and contingency planning for the whole of Montserrat water infrastructure to the islands government. I have also conducted CNI assessments in the Baltics as part of current operations. More recently, I project managed the delivery of supporting infrastructure for operationally critical systems for a remote site in the Middle East.
