Oversaw conventional oil and gas assets throughout Rio-Grande Valley and southwest Texas, providing technical knowledge of daily operations for approximately 600 wells averaging 22 MMcfpd & 200 bopd.• Collaborated with geology and reservoir teams to identify, evaluate, and execute recompletion / stimulation opportunities, resulting in production uplift of 2 MMcfpd / 30 bopd for the La Grulla field in Starr County, TX. • Worked with field superintendent on planning and execution of the Samano field’s SWD facility upgrade, disposal well cleanout, and implementation of chemical program, improving water quality and reducing injection pressures by 30%.• Contributed to team cost-reduction efforts, coordinating with vendors to bid out services / contracts including chemical, compression, trucking, and other contract labor leading to an additional $200K per month savings, company-wide. • Conducted meetings with field team regarding production trends, scheduled well tests and infrastructure projects such as right-of-way patrols, compressor PMs, monitoring of gas quality, cathodic protection, and pressure testing of gas gathering systems per RRC / DOT specifications. • Generated AFEs and workover procedures for well intervention including coil and workstring cleanouts, downhole tubular leaks, and artificial lift conversions / repairs to restore production and minimize downtime. • Utilized OpenInvoice to approve or dispute expenses and coordinated with accounting to ensure accurate coding & allocation of capital / operating expenditures. • Communicated routinely with regulatory to ensure state compliance pertaining to testing, plugging, commingling, and other surface / downhole work requiring proper permitting.
