Serves as the Sustainment Automation Support Management Officer (SASMO) for the 3rd Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade. Responsible for the tactical sustainment information systems network by sustaining network connectivity through Very Small Aperture Terminals (VSAT), Combat Service Support Automated Information System Interfaces (CAISI) secure wireless networks, and Ft. StewartNetwork Enterprise Services to support the Logistics Information Systems (LIS). Entrusted to monitor, track, manage and assess the hardware and software for readiness, new equipment fielding, and capability of all LIS objectives over 400 systems. Manages the LIS Life Cycle Replacement (LCR), Retrofit, and Repair oversight and coordination through the Brigade, 3ID, and tenant units. Advises the SupportOperations Officer on the administration, maintenance, and operation of LIS. Oversees the training and welfare of eight enlisted personnel and $4.0 million of equipment.
