Partners with transportation management with primary oversight responsibilities to plan, and lead the day-to-day operations of both patient and materials workflows for transportation coordinator and specialist teams. This includes efficient and effective relationship building and communications across the organization, acting as a liaison between manager and staff, internal and external business unit leaders and employees, to provide quality transportation support throughout the PHC system. Works closely with manager to plan and monitor system aligned department goals and their outcomes within the approved capital and operating budget expectations. Distributes and manages assignments to create and execute safe patient and material trip schedules, timely dispatch and accurate verification of services for processing end-of-month invoice billing, receivable collection and reporting. Recommends new innovative approaches to increase and improve service delivery performance, communications and system data entry accuracy for customer end-of-month billing processes. Assumes a key role in planning facility and vehicle maintenance, safety training and emergency preparedness communications. Exercises leadership and professional judgments within defined processes, policies and procedures and implements appropriate actions.

Includes fires or potential of fires involving buildings, structures, operational processes, grounds, aircraft (including military aircraft), missiles and separate or component weapons or other material. Perform operations and operator maintenance of all types of firefighting and related rescue vehicles, equipment systems and devices in support of overall base emergency contingency operations. Required to drive and operate various crash, fire, rescue, structural pumper and tank truck apparatus and all associated equipment.
