Leader of the strategic development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. The Director collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to identify opportunities for process optimization and ensure the successful execution of improvement projects. Leading the Operations team ( Including shipping, receiving, purchasing, methods engineering and manufacturing) in developing world class problem solving culture. Using Lean enterprise and Six Sigma techniques to develop goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization. Manage all activities for continuous improvement and performance enhancement at the site level.

Responsible for leading continuous improvement activities for Jetway division as part of JBT's corporate Lean implementation. Champions new initiatives and demonstrates the successful implementation of Lean principles and tools. Delivers practical, hands-on training to employees in Lean methodology to eliminate waste and drive continuous improvement across the value stream. Measures and reports progress on an ongoing basis of Lean implementation to management.

Manage a team of 50+ production operators in a manufacturing environment. Responsible for change management within the plant and consistently identifying biggest problems within the organization and implementing meaningful countermeasures. Use systems based thinking to drive the implementation of standardized work, throughput optimization, and creating a problem solving culture.

Examine cost and spend of raw materials, components, and services and determine opportunities for improvement. Set standards and apply them to cost and spend analysis. Use statistical methodology modeling and data mining to determine areas for savings.

Provide day-to-day supervision and leadership to production or training cell operators. Plan and assign work, implement policies and procedures, increase team members’ skills and capabilities and recommend improvements in production methods, training methods, equipment operation procedures and working conditions. Oversee and train all operators and step in to assist production when needed.
