The Public Practice Advisory Committee (PPAC) acts to advise and support the PABC on matters related to the provision of physiotherapy services in publicly funded practice. The 'Active Streets Active People' (ASAP) project evaluates the influence of street-­‐level changes on older adult’s mobility and social interactions. Specifically, the City of Vancouver is making substantial changes to the built environment along the Comox-­‐Helmcken Greenway (CHG) located in Vancouver’s downtown core.As a summer research intern: - Worked with the Geographic Information System (GIS) Mapping software to map travel patterns of participants for data processing work- Conduct systematic literature reviews, gaining experience scanning for published documents on associated projects. - Analyzed and scored qualitative and quantitative data for further evaluation

Organized and coordinated two summer projects: The Big Picture High School Seminar, was a weeklong program for young men centred around career choices, university preparation, business ethics and learning personal strengths. I also coordinated an environmental cleaning initiative of the Musqueam Salmon Creek. I developed project proposals, organized fundraising events, recruited of speakers and volunteers, organized constructive meetings with the Musqueam First Nations Band Government, managed the project budget, and developed knowledge translation reports for the public and funders.
