Researcher CEFT/FEUP (Faculty of Engineering University of Porto)- elastic turbulence- CFD simulations- Electrokinetic flows of viscoelastic fluidsR&D - Bosch TermotecnologiaWorking in the R&D Department performing the following activities:- Development of new components and products for water heaters systems especially for low NOx combustion burner and fuel/air mixing systems;- Monitoring the industrialization of new products, including production of prototypes and zero-series.Submitted several innovation reports, from which 5 patents were filled. I've patented a new heat exchanger for a water heater, two new air/gas mixture systems and two one NOx technologies for combustion burners. R&D - Postdoctoral Researcher (CEFT/FEUP)Post-Doc position on Centro de Estudos de Fenómenos de Transporte (CEFT) – FEUP, in which I will study electrokinetic, multiphase flows and instabilities with viscoelastic fluids with applications in microfluidics. R&D - Doctoral Researcher (CEFT/FEUP)During my PhD I've implemented efficient and robust numerical schemes in a finite volume method code, optimized to perform CFD simulations of complex flows of complex fluids. I've also performed analytical solutions to electrokinetic flows of viscoelastic fluids. I've gained experience in software development, analytical and organized thinking, scientific writing, along with a necessary strong scientific background.
