Conducted primary research for a variety of media organizations in English and Spanish using a range of qualitative methods including mobile ethnography, in-depth interviews, semiotic analysis, and textual analysis. Supported all stages of qualitative fieldwork including development of research instruments, recruitment and selection of participants, data quality control and coding, data analysis, reporting in Keynote, and communication with KR&I research and editorial teams and field partners. Assisted in refining and testing quantitative surveys.

Observed and analyzed in-depth interviews conducted in Spanish. Coded and analyzed qualitative data and contributed to reporting in Keynote.

Managed two USAID-funded projects: Mali Peacebuilding, Stabilization, and Reconciliation Project (PSR) and El Salvador Municipal Governance Project (MGP). Supported all aspects of each project to include technical, financial, contractual, and operational components. Coordinated with field and DC-based teams to conduct USAID’s Conflict Assessment in Mali and Creative’s Fragility-Resilience Assessment Methodology in Mali and El Salvador. Contributed to and reviewed weekly, quarterly, and annual reports, performance monitoring plans, and project deliverables including annual work plans and grants manual. Managed project budgets and produced and reviewed financial reports to inform budget projections and project activities. Provided home office guidance to field-based finance and human resources teams. Supported facilitation of two one-week anti-corruption trainings for project beneficiaries and field staff.

Supported project funded by the US State Department and the Kingdom of the Netherlands: Support to the Armed Moderate Opposition of Syria Project (SAMOS). Managed project budget and assisted with project close-out. Contributed to and reviewed quarterly, annual, and final reports. Supported Syria business development efforts by participating in design sessions, drafting and reviewing proposal sections, preparing budgets, and managing consultants. Coordinated travel and security logistics for program staff and consultants.

Served as regional fundraiser and coordinated all events in Northern Virginia area to meet the campaign's fundraising goal for the primary election held in June 2017; each fundraiser had a minimum target of $20,000. Oversaw donor prospect research and donor outreach assignments.

Coordinated and staffed local and national fundraisers each with a target between $10,000 and $50,000. Worked cross-functionally to manage fundraising strategy and to foster relationships with community and donor groups.

Facilitated fundraising program for eight candidates running for public office in Atlanta metro area. Managed logistics for fundraising events in US Southeast region and assisted with state and municipal financial reporting responsibilities.

Supported the Access to Information (ATI) team with its qualitative research on women’s access to information in Liberia and Guatemala. Translated Spanish-written news articles and reports and provided daily news updates to ATI team. Served as rapporteur during four-day forum held in Washington, D.C. amongst 30 international ATI researchers to finalize the Carter Center's ATI Legislation Implementation Assessment Tool.
