Projects included Mexican Tax Reporting, enabling cash basis accounting, converting to new UK tax rates in GBP/EUR, EFT interfaces for banks in Europe and Mexico, transitioning to a new E1 security model, multiple A/R, A/P, and G/L reports, and interactive applications for user-driven uploads of data into and out of JDE. Provided comprehensive day-to-day JDE support for a major automotive after-market dealer. Coordinated and oversaw merging of acquired third-party branches into JDE data structure. Took over and managed client resources to retrofit custom modifications for cumulative upgrades and testing. Provided detailed documentation on the scope of modifications. Fixed multiple EDI transmission problems and incorrect data issues. Converted an old manual payroll interface routine into an automated procedure. Wrote a brand new payroll interface to link JDE and Zurich Payroll System. Used Z-Batch processing extensively. Coordinated efforts of several internal resources to verify, test, and adopt the new interface. Worked together with a team of employees and consultants to automate an interface to engineering assembly system. Designed and coded an SQL module to link BOM records with technical drawings in AutoCAD format.
