Research Assistant in simulating quantum error correction on near term quantum devices. The position is an extension of the research carried out during my Masters thesis. My responsibilities have been to carry out research, gather data, present it to the entire research group and actively partake in their discussions.

Wrote my thesis in simulating error correction codes for quantum computers along with another student. Simulations were primarily carried out using the Python module Qiskit. While physics was the core focus, the project also gave me insight into creating and maintaining larger code projects in a group.
