As an instructor of a debt collection company, I am constantly faced with new laws and regulations that are needed to be learned and applied to every employee within the company. Many times, it would take problem solving and good judgment to be able to think quickly to find a good solution for each unique trainee I had. I would continually make sure the employees of my company thoroughly understood the information but also were able to practically use that knowledge in their roles at the company. I am proud of the material, classes, and lesson plans I created which added to amazing teamwork within the company. I have consistently stayed up to date with all FDCPA, UDAPP, FCRA and State regulations regarding debt collection and test myself frequently on those laws and regulations. Customer service has always played a major role in my personal and professional life. While I would cling to my customer service skills early on with retail jobs, I was only able to grow my skills through the years by finding how to find an appropriate way to connect in a corporate setting and how to always build and grow that skill. People, not numbers, are what create the experience for a customer.
