Always ready to move out of my comfort zone, I have a passion in structuring the unstructured through thought leadership, empathy, analysis and research.I built that over a lifetime of experience in dynamic, projectised tech environments. I designed and implemented Malta's first idea-to-market startup accelerator focusing on emerging technologies assessing 600+ startup projects, 32 of which accelerated with 10 of them collectively raising €55M. I've been a leading promoter of the Maltese startup ecosystem from 2016 onwards, co-founding the Malta Startup Space FB community.I helped formulate and co-authored various Malta government ICT policy documents, among them the Digital Strategic Roadmap 2022 for Tourism, Digital Malta - the National ICT Strategy 2014-2020, the AI strategy 2020; as well as contributed to the creation of an applied R&D and consulting function at the Malta Information Technology Agency (MITA). I've been a national representative to a number of European Commission ICT R&I related programme committees from 2009 to 2014.
