Progressing from Activity Leader to Senior Team Leader for a Schools Holiday Scheme; day to day I managed a team of 15 activity leaders whilst running the logistics of each day for 120 pupils. Each day included planning the 15-20 daily activities and making sure the pupils have a fun, educational experience in a safe environment at Leighton Park Holiday Club. The main lesson I learnt managing the team was the importance of being able to adapt to any situation and always being ready to react according to the day to day demands of regular teaching life.
