Hi!I'm Sam and welcome to my LinkedIn page where I aim to find my inspiration and possibly tell you about my own journey as I progress through university (Portsmouth) studying Sport and Exercise Psychology BSc. As many psychologists probably know, it's going to be a rather long journey. Over the next few years I'll be aiming to gain experience in the field and hopefully complete a MSc and PhD whilst coming out of it as a fully qualified performance psychologist. To start this journey, I am undergoing a placement year as a performance analyst at Harlequins RFC for the mens first team (and academy), a dream job for me as a childhood fan and player.However, the true journey can't be predicted, so we'll see what happens!Personally, I'm an avid sportsman, with a past career in rugby which has somehow developed into a raw love for the game of golf and hockey. I'm a member at Woking GC and play at uni for both the hockey and golf teams. I've always loved being part of a team and the feeling of success and failure you achieve in sport.
