I am an extremely motivated and adaptive program administrator, supervisor, learner and instructor. As a goal oriented person with a early passion for STEM and military service I determined that the nuclear submarine force would be the perfect first career choice to blend science with service.From 2012-2016 I attended the University of Wisconsin - Madison where I earned a B.S. in Atmospheric and Oceanic Science with a certificate in Arabic. After commissioning into the U.S. Navy though UW's Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps I spent a year and a half completing the Navy's Nuclear Power School, Nuclear Power Operations Course, and the Submarine Officer Basic Course. Upon completion of my training I served onboard USS Colorado (SSN 788) in several roles including Machinery Division Officer, Reactor Control Division Officer, Communications Division Officer, and the Information Systems Officer from January 2018 to September of 2020. During my time onboard I contributed to the ship's commissioning, sea-trials, deployment preparations, and the first deployment. I qualified as a Naval Nuclear Engineer in May of 2020.On completion of my division officer tour in late 2020 I became the Submarine Liaison, Legal Officer, and Public Affairs Officer at COMDESRON NINE in Everett, WA. In 2022 I reported back to my alma mater’s Naval ROTC unit to teach, train, and develop future Naval Officers.In 2021 I decided my next step in life will be to pursue a career in medicine. I am now in the process of completing final pre-medical requirements in order to attend medical school following my naval service to become a physician.
