CurrentCaptiveAire Systems is the largest privately held designer/manufacturer of kitchen ventilation hoods in the US with integrated fans, heaters, ductwork and HVAC equipment.· Plant Specialist for wet chemical fire systems - responsible for electronic-controlled fire detection and suppression system integrated testing and certification. Includes evaluation, detection, troubleshooting and resolution of wiring and hardware/electronic component issues.· Partnered with Quality Management team to develop, test and implement improved quality testing procedure for fire suppression systems, resulting in improved testing efficiency through reduction in testing time, enhanced error detection, reduction in field rework for issues identified during installation, and higher safety objectives achieved for the manufactured product.· Provide engineering support on the production floor, working directly with manufacturing technicians to troubleshoot and resolve electrical and fire detection and suppression system issues by interpreting wiring schematics and fire system drawings.· Work closely with quality and production engineering teams on continuous improvement initiatives to identify, develop, and validate process/production improvements for the manufacturing line.· Provide feedback to R&D team related to internal design via requested design improvements.· Perform all work according to established safety and quality standards.
