-Primarily worked in the Planning and Reliability engineering department for this role.-Completed Transmission line (161kv) and Sub-Transmission line (69kv) fault studies using Aspen OneLine in order to confirm transmission circuit breaker sizing and performance predictability. -Also completed distribution line (23.9kv and 13.8kv) fault studies using Aspen OneLine in order to confirm substation distribution circuit breaker sizing and performance predictability. -Completed a DA Switch Study that comprised finding sixteen manual distribution crossarm switches from over 1400 available switches that were best suited for replacement with SCADA switches. -The switch study involved creating a ranking system based on feeder reliability statistics, pole material, wire size (and consequently ampacity), whether the switch tied different feeders or not, and historical manual switch operation count data. -Additionally worked with the Network and Standards subgroup within the Planning and Reliability department to create detailed AutoCAD drawings of 30+ transformer vaults as-built in downtown Nashville.

Electrical Engineering Intern in the Meter Services section of NES' Power System Operations department - Assist in managing a complex, ever-changing wireless network servicing nearly 500,000 AMI electric meters.- Assist in managing metering between TVA's regional power infrastructure and NES' local power infrastructure.- Test meters that errored in the field for functionality and determine appropriate course of action for each meter (decommission meter, RMA meter, or return meter to service.)- Communicate with a wide range of employees, from contracted electricians to NES' linemen and engineers.- Moderate exposure to field work including meter change-outs and troubleshooting meters that refuse to communicate with NES' wireless network.- Mainly in office during this internship.

Helped clear tables of plates, ran hot food out to guests' tables, and ensured tables were kept clean between shifts.-Expo role: Sequenced a high-output (5-8 cook) kitchen during dinner rushes (potentially 200+ covers during dinner service). This involved communicating menu items to line cooks and the head/sous chef. High pressure role that required me to keep track of many (sometimes 20+) orders simultaneously and time meal courses accordingly. No room for error since expo at Del Frisco's meant sequencing the entire kitchen throughout a service. Also required some customer service in the event a steak's temperature needed modification/guest noted that he/she had an allergy.-End date displayed as January 2023 due to seasonal employment. I worked during winter break from college.
