My responsibility as a mentor was to accompany and guide UNAL and UDEA students through workshops and personalized tutorials on the subject of programming fundamentals during their academic journey in the course, aiming to strengthen their education comprehensively and to help them successfully master the subject with a strong foundation in programming fundamentals using Python.My primary goal as a mentor was not only to ensure that students passed the course but also to help them build a solid foundation in programming fundamentals with Python. I provided additional resources, practical examples, and exercises to enhance their understanding of key concepts. Furthermore, I emphasized the importance of continuous practice and applying what they learned in real projects.My role was guided by the belief that comprehensive programming education extends beyond the academic course and focuses on the development of transferable skills and the confidence to tackle future challenges. It was an honor to contribute to the students' success in this essential subject.
