    Graduate Student
    Boston University Aug 2004 - Apr 2011
Dissertation: Applications of Statistical Physics to the Social and Economic Sciences (Thesis advisor: H. Eugene Stanley)Teaching Fellow: 2004-2007Research Fellow: 2007-2011My curricula and research have focussed on the field of stochastic phenomena with emphasis on high-frequency analysis of Trades and Quotes (TAQ) financial data, random walks, diffusion, network theory, sports statistics, and empirical analysis of macroeconomic variables. In addition to foundations in Physics, I have become proficient in numerical analysis, Monte-Carlo simulation of agent models, statistics and probability theory, and simplistic reasoning.
