A music web application built to inspire collaboration when creating playlists. It allows a host at an event to select from a large variety of music in order to create a playlist for the event. Guests can authenticate with he event, suggest new songs to the playlist that they would like to hear, vote on songs already suggested, or simply view the playlist and which song is currently playing. The goal of the project is to create a platform that allows people to collaborate on music selection at events so to cater to everyones musical taste rather than one selected candidate. PowerPlaylist will connect to the Spotify API and potentially other music providers in order to pull from a large database of music.
