Served as a prosecutor on the General Felony Trial Team and Jury Trial Prayer Unit in circuit court. Conducted bench trials, argued motions, and prosecuted nine jury trials to verdict. Trained prosecutors who were new to the Jury Trial Prayer Unit. Obtained a successful Fourth Amendment ruling that was unanimously upheld by the Supreme Court of Maryland as a certified question of law.

Prosecuted criminal cases as a trial attorney in district court and circuit court. Conducted bench trials, argued motions, and prosecuted seven jury trials to verdict. Prosecuted a wide range of cases, including illegal gun possession and domestic violence.

Assisted Mr. Ivan J. Bates (now the elected State’s Attorney for Baltimore City) with trial preparation for high-profile state and federal criminal defense matters. Drafted motions to suppress and motions in limine to exclude evidence at trial.

Provided research assistance to Professor Lande related to his academic publishing in the Antitrust field. Provided research assistance to Professor Lande related to his role as Director and co-founder of the American Antitrust Institute, a non-profit, consumer-oriented organization devoted to promoting competition.

Provided weekly tutoring sessions for Contracts II students. Tutored students on topics involving contract interpretation, remedies, and defenses.

Provided short-term research assistance to Professor Bessler for his preface to Justice Stephen Breyer’s book, “Against the Death Penalty.”

Represented client serving life sentence seeking exoneration. Conducted client interview, reviewed the case file, drafted a petition for post-conviction relief, and obtained a report from an expert witness.
