• Took the initiative and offered to design a new housing and UI for pressure testing equipment. Presented my design to senior stakeholders who approved it. Communicated with suppliers, wrote the testing protocol and manual, and took responsibility for the product throughout its lifecycle.• Designed an updated pneumatic rotary actuator with simplified design and reduced footprint. This involved a full redesign: calculations, new and modified parts, choosing appropriate supplier parts such as O-rings, prototype assembly and testing. The prototype worked perfectly.• Personally responsible for £1.5 million of sales orders in the Project Engineering department. Worked independently creating specifications, drawings, bills of materials, certification and other documentation for each order.• Extensive drawing work for manufacture, assembly, and customer reference. Applied geometric tolerancing for high precision parts after 3-day training course.• After identifying inefficiency in the departments’ processes, I took the initiative and coded a python programme to fully automate the EU directive certification process for each sales order. Integrated with the MRP software, it is now used by the department on every order, reducing the time to generate certification from 30 minutes to 1 minute per order.
