After University, I traveled to Chile for a year and a half to improve my Spanish language skills and worked at a number of language schools teaching English to predominately Chilean business professionals. The experience abroad was invaluable to my personal growth as I had the unique opportunity to immerse myself in a different culture, to travel not only around the metropolitan region of Santiago, but also to the Atacama desert to the North and to Torres del Paine at the glacial, southernmost tip of the continent, and to live with Chilean families and other travelers while there. After returning to the States, I signed up to work for a non profit called Austin Free Net for which I taught GED and basic computational classes to underprivileged communities in and around Austin. In the summer of 2017, I moved on and started working as a sales professional for Dell Technologies. Moving from a small, community non profit to a global technology leader has afforded me additional opportunities to develop myself as a person and a professional.
