  I started my IT career here at Smokin Joes doing very basic web design, picture editing through Photoshop, and running our small eBay store for clearing overstock. Shortly thereafter I was moved to the POS support team, quickly becoming the POS Support Lead and managing almost all of our POS Systems. Through this I have knowledge of Radiant POS, Comcash POS, PixelPoint POS and Pinnacle POS, with Pinnacle being the one I deal with most and have the most experience with. With this I have gained knowledge of Borland FoxPro Database Tables, Sybase Databases and have done extensive work in MS SQL databases. Although I have no formal training in SQL I deal with a number of SQL queries and stored procedures daily and am expanding my knowledge with every chance I get through the help of online resources such as: T-SQL Reference, W3 Schools and StackOverflow. I also have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office from 2000 onward including the new Office365 and help manage our Email through Microsoft Online.I have worked with the Syspro ERP Software and can get around in it fairly well though I am currently training in more extensive knowledge of the system through this I have a decent understanding of SRS Reports and Crystal Reports.I have also assisted with user management through Active Directory and understand Domain setup and structure, I have helped troubleshoot various Domain related issues including but not limited to: Mapped Drives, Printer Installation, Access Permissions and Backups. I am also somewhat experienced in a UNIX environment but have not done so for some time so I may be a bit rusty.I have been told I excel at Customer Service and since Customer/User Service is a main facet of IT work I feel it would apply. I understand that the basic user may not be experienced at all in certain environments and try my best to explain things to them while fixing errors or mistakes so that they can walk away from the experience learning something.
