During my time in the Lending team at Moody's, I worked primarily as an implementation consultant on our loan origination platform. This involved leading deliveries for multiple long-term deployments and managing migration projects. As part of my responsibilities I delivered training and workshops in Nigeria, Switzerland and Belgium. I assisted with client user acceptance testing. I created bespoke migration scripts for customers' sensitive lending and financial data.

During the summer of 2017 I worked as a temporary operations administrator for the investment management firm James Hambro and Partners. During this period, I had multiple daily responsibilities including performing CASS client money reconciliations, asset reconciliations, disclosure reporting, dividend processing and instructing cash and treasury movements. I also assisted in the compilation of data for monthly FCA and regulatory reporting.In the absence of my colleague, I took control of the reconciliations for two weeks, and helped to train my replacement in the job.Completing these tasks enabled me to see many different sides of how a medium sized wealth manager is run, including the relationship between the front and back offices. The experience was extremely informative and educational, and gave me a real taste of working life in London.
