Being of service to others is a value that gives me the most fulfillment. During the last two years of working at Planet Fitness, I have played a role in creating a non-intimidating environment for gym members. Aside from the job description of cleaning the gym and signing up new members, I help maintain machines for minor repairs.My current position is also instrumental to my passion for fitness. My free time has consisted of exercise since graduating college, but it has increased since working at Planet Fitness. Seeing gym members put in the work motivates me to add to my growth. It has also led me to challenge myself in things beyond fitness. That mindset led me to pursue a certification in personal training. I enjoy encouraging gym members at work, and I would like to take it to the next level.With my degree in civil engineering, it gives me the ability to analyze things through a different perspective. It has been instrumental to my current position, and I look forward to using that mindset in future endeavors.
